Bernie Nauta was born in the Netherlands, raised in Canada and Texan by choice, moving there in 1972.

He came into the mortgage business with experience as a licensed Realtor. Bernie has been a mortgage loan officer since 1986, and joined Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation in 1998, to give his clients more and better options, when it comes to selecting a home mortgage and planning for their future.

His personal and business experience has helped Bernie develop a philosophy to listen closely to what his customer's goals are and tailor choices to fit their particular needs. Over the years, he has had a numerous repeat customers and referrals because of this philosophy and personal service.

Bernie's commitment to "Smooth Sailing to Loan Approval" extends to his personal time, spent with his lovely wife, Bip on their sailboat. The "apples of his eye" are granddaughters Caitlin, twins Jordyn and Jadyn and grandson Jeff.
